Jesus acknowledged that God's choice of who receives revelation has never aligned with the world's assessment of who is worthy. This has been the pattern throughout all of scripture — and it remains the pattern now.

The "wise and prudent" in this passage were the credentialed religious leaders and those with institutional authority of the day. The "babes" were fishermen, the oppressed, and the socially overlooked — those the established order had written off.

On February 20, 1934 — twenty years after the Sabbath had already commenced — the great Mahdi, W.D. Fard, sat with the Messiah, Elijah Muhammad, and declared: the modern age had been present on the Earth for 6,020 years, 72,241 months, and 2,197,351 days.

That declaration — the date of which is recorded on page 24 of The Supreme Wisdom: Lessons, where Lesson No. 2 was given by W.D. Fard and answered by Elijah Muhammad, one of the Lost-Founds in the wilderness of North America — is the calibration anchor of this instrument. The Prophetic Chronometer measures the elapsed duration of Satan's appointed lease over the Earth from that fixed point, live, to the present millisecond.

The Sabbath began in 1914. Every moment past that threshold is not anticipation — it is the mercy of God extended inside a Sabbath already arrived.

One Earth year: the Earth completes one full orbit around the sun at 67,000 mph — a journey that takes 365 days, on a 23° tilt. During that same journey, the Earth spins on its own axis 365 times at 1,037⅓ mph, each spin producing one 24-hour day. One spin equals one day. One orbit equals one year. W.D. Fard declared both measurements simultaneously.

What This Means for the Chronometer

The Prophetic Chronometer does not measure abstract religious time. It measures cosmological time — real orbits of a real planet, counted in real rotations, at physically verified speeds.

The 2,197,351 days are 2,197,351 daily rotations of the Earth at 1,037⅓ mph — each single rotation producing one 24-hour day. The 6,020 years are 6,020 complete orbits of the Earth around the sun at 67,000 mph — each orbit comprising 365 of those daily rotations. One rotation equals one day. One orbit equals one year. The lease was measured in the currency of the cosmos itself.

Habakkuk 3:3 — Mount Paran Is Arabia

Mount Paran in scripture is identified with the Arabian peninsula — the geographic origin of W.D. Fard. Habakkuk did not give a vague prophecy. He located the man by geography: "the Holy One from Mount Paran."

He came from that region. He stood. He measured the Earth — its rotation, its tilt, its orbital speed, and its prophetic calendar. Habakkuk wrote it. W.D. Fard fulfilled it. The scripture and the event are the same event.

The Earth travels at approximately 67,000 mph in its annual circuit around the sun. Every year of the 6,020-year appointed lease is one complete orbit at this speed. The Mahdi, W.D. Fard, declared this measurement in the 1930s.

Al-Mulk · The Kingdom · The Sovereignty

The 67th chapter of the Holy Quran is titled Al-Mulk — The Kingdom. It opens: "Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and Who has power over everything." The entire chapter declares Allah's absolute dominion over the universe and everything in it.

Within the framework of this tradition: the Earth has been orbiting at 67,000 mph for the entirety of the 6,020-year lease — always moving, always completing its circuit — and the Quran chapter bearing that same number is titled The Kingdom. In this reading, the very motion of the Earth was always rotating toward the establishment of the Kingdom of God — toward Al-Mulk — chapter 67 — at 67,000 mph. The cosmos was already pointed at the destination before the lease began.

Paul states two preconditions must occur before the Day of the Lord: a great falling away from truth, and the revealing of the man of sin — one who exalts himself above God and presents himself as God. He will be destroyed not by human military power but by the breath of the Messiah's mouth and the brightness of his coming.

Traditional Interpretation — Within This Teaching

Within the tradition of W.D. Fard and Elijah Muhammad, the man of sin is understood as the ruling civilization of the present age — one that has placed its standards above God's law and presented its cultural and political authority as supreme truth. The Messiah's raising represents the beginning of that system's exposure.

Acts 17:26 · Malachi 4:1 · Revelation 20:1–3 — Scripture Anticipating What Follows Satan's Appointed Season

These three scriptures are quoted directly from the KJV. They establish a consistent scriptural expectation — that Satan's permitted season was always bounded, always destined to expire, and that what follows it is permanent. The specific fulfillment, understood within this tradition as beginning with the Mahdi's appearance in the 1930s, is presented as tradition.

God pre-set the appointed times for every nation before they began. Satan's season was no exception — it was fixed, bounded, and always destined to expire.

The end of the wicked is described as total and permanent — neither root nor branch remaining. No cycle. No return. The appointed season of wickedness concludes without the possibility of revival.

Satan is bound, cast in, shut up, and sealed. His capacity to deceive the nations is removed — not temporarily suspended, but definitively concluded.

What the Three Scriptures Establish Together

Taken together, these three scriptures establish a consistent expectation: Satan's appointed season was pre-set and bounded, its conclusion was always coming, and what follows is permanent — leaving neither root nor branch of the former order in place.

Within this tradition: the Mahdi showed up between 16 and 20 years after the Sabbath commenced in 1914 — arriving inside the season that scripture had long anticipated would follow the expiration of Satan's permitted lease. The Prophetic Chronometer measures that expiration. These three scriptures describe what was always expected to follow it.
